Another Use for Tim Holtz’s Pinecone Die

31 Jul

Couldn’t resist making this succulent using Tim’s pinecone die. My inspiration simply came from seeing a succulent growing in the wheelbarrow near my front porch. I knew the minute I saw the plant what die would be perfect:). It was so fun creating this decorative piece. I used distress paint to color the edges of the plant and actually put together two pinecones to make the larger succulent. Give it a shot! Oh and for those who are new to my blog, I LOVE, did I say LOVE?, garage saling and purchased the container at a garage sale.

Saw this on Tim's blog and just had to come over and say how fabulous it looks! It really does look like a real succulent right down to the pinky edges – love your great container too!
