Tuesdays with Tim

13 Aug

Hi friends! I have so much to share with you but one post at a time! Several weeks ago my friends and co-workers at Sizzix were challenged by Tim Holtz to spend one hour a week playing with his dies and Ranger and Idea-ology products. Seemed simple enough but with the pressure of eminent deadlines, I wasn’t sure it would work but somehow I managed. I was joined by my friend Lynda and E.L. We took an hour lunch and just messed around with distressing inks and paint. Here are a few of our projects. I created my tag and card base with a distressing ink pad pressed onto a mat and misted with water. Lynda experimented with ink and distressing paint. Both turned out beautifully! I actually went back and added a texture fades folder to mine and then colored with words with distressing ink. What are you waiting for??
