Play Day Wednesday…and the End Result!

14 Sep

OK so I had a little bit of time at lunch again this week to play around with Tim Holtz’s new Jingle Bell Movers and Shapers die. I cut this one from grungeboard. I then painted it with distressing paint, shaded it with distressing ink, dried it, added a bit of Picket Fence distressing pen and paint , and finished it off with a crackle glaze. So much fun!

Just wanted to jump over here from Tim Holtz CC 102 class and let you know how much bi enjoyed your work. Your tinsel tree is going to be my inspiration for Christmas cards this year. Earlier this year I received my Granma' s tinsel tree, it has been 44 Christmases since I have seen this tree up, I was 3 when my parents moved from California to Arkansas, and while helping my parents clean out my grandparents home this spring, I found Gran's tree. Every month since I have had thoughts of putting up her tree, only have to make it a few more weeks now. So your card is not only my inspiration but has truly touched me. Thank you so much!!
