Monday’s Motivation

Happy Tuesday!

For sometime now, I’ve been blogging about pretty random things. Generally, my biggest attractions are arts/crafts and family, not to mention junking. All are my passion and I love sharing about them but as I get ready to change to a new look and possibly a new blogging website, I decided to create what I  call “Monday’s Motivation”. This will be a series of art/craft pieces that are the ABC’s of “making”.  I want there to be something that the beginner, intermediate and advance artist/crafter can do. I find that art is such an incredible experience that I don’t want anybody to feel left out because of their lack of knowledge, expertise or budget.  We all start somewhere. By doing the “ABC’s”, my hope is that everyone will be able to take away a new tip, technique or idea that they might never have thought of before.  Obviously, the beginner will be exposed to very simple but classic ideas. Chances are, they will also be low in cost.  In other words, it’s for the “explorer” who isn’t sure this is going to be what he/she is looking for but they want to dabble here a bit. For the intermediate and advanced, there will be unique ideas, techniques and layering. Some will involve more materials but that choice will be left entirely to the individual. I will continue with the randomness of life in general on some of the other days but I want Monday to be a good start to the week. I will be adding another topic for another day shortly. I’m considering “garage sailing” as I love to do that and take it to the DIY level or showcase how it landed in my home.  Any suggestions are encouraged here!
