The Last of CHA 2016

15 Jan

As promised, I am bringing you several more pics from CHA.  Honestly, I wish I had taken more pics with people! The best time I had was seeing, meeting and greeting fellow art/craft lovers. I felt very A.D.D at this show.  I was either demoing, teaching, answering questions, videotaping or just hanging out with my SB peeps.  I did not get around to photographing as much as I should have. Boo :(.  Anyway, what pics I have I am bringing to you.  Next opportunity, I am all in!

First time meeting Donna Salazar! She’s all about girlie grunge.

Watching the talented, mixed-media artist, Seth Apter at his demo station. Never get tired of his layering, color choices, stamps and stencils.  Did I mention how kind he is?

                                                                Seth’s gallery of art.

Tammy Tutterow’s lovely vintage goodies and lettering sentiments are a great addition to Spellbinders!  Loved the look.
Was so thankful for the call to make Charity Wings…wings!  Going for the natural, ombre, gold look to tie in with SB booth’s dream catchers.
These are the very talented artists that I am so honored to be friends with! It doesn’t matter that we don’t all work for the same company nor do any of us live in the same state.   I am constantly in awe of their skill set.  Sharyn Sowell is on the “cutting” edge with her mad scissor artistry, Brenda’s watercoloring and calligraphy skills..ahhhh swoon, and Tammy’s vintage floral goodness and lettering, just amazing!  What more can a girl dream of than to hang with these ladies?  To add to all of this, they are sweet, funny, witty and genuine!  Oh, and I can’t leave out Brenda’s husband, Doug.  He’s sort of a “jack of all trades” and an all around great guy!  Oh and this year we added one more…definitely a person of interest :), albeit incognito…

I know this is a horribly small pic but I simply couldn’t leave it out.  Late night crafting with these peeps is always the BEST!  Sharyn Sowell, Brenda Walton, Doug Peckham, Tammy Tutterow and one “crafty crasher”.  Ahhhh, can you guess who? No glitter for him :).

Different time, different place but the same incredible artists next year in PHOENIX!  Whooo hoo! Can hardly wait!

It really is the people who make the difference — even at an event that is all about the product. You truly captured that in this post!
