Getting Organized

3 Feb

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Half way to the weekend, right?  Things got to be looking up with that focus :).  Anyway, today I want to show you what I purchased last weekend at Treasured, a flea market in Scottsdale.  I have a very tiny space to work in and every time I decide to do something, I debate whether I want to take it all out because inevitably that means, I have to put it all back.  So I found these cool connected loaf pans and decided to use this as my catch all so that when I am working on projects, I don’t have to put everything away.  I just put them into the pans.  So far, so good!  I’ve been very busy this week.

Sorry this pic is a tad blurry.  It’s all I have before getting messy!
This is now how it looks….
I will never be a neat and tidy artist.  Will.not.happen. For me, I can’t be creative if I have to put everything away every night.  And that my friends, is my confession.  How about you?  Are you messy or a neat and tidy maker?

Love this idea – and I'm messy too. The key for me is that I know where stuff goes, so when its time to put it away, it's quick and easy. I get into trouble when something does not have a place to call its own!

You are right Paula! I do need to have a home for everything…especially my art stuff and, I do. You know, priorities :)! I really created this to house projects I am currently working on like Valentine's Day stuff. That way, I don't have to put it all away every night. When I am done for those few days, I can simply put them back all at once.

OMGosh! LOVE those pans…need to go shopping with you! LOL! Right now my table is a mess with only a 12 x 12" space to work with…maybe. I tried to clean but…oh! shiny thing…distraction at its best. UGH. Maybe a weekend assignment for me 😉

Debi great idea using loaf pans but they look like they are hooked together or put into something, are they? I am so like Margie….I have about a 12 x 12 space on my desk right now too and yes I love all my things and throw something away NOT you might need it on another project. I am sure I will use it.
