It’s FRIDAY!! Whoo hoo! Did ya make it? I’m ready for some time off for garage sailing of course! Last weekend was spent in the South Bay area of California junkin’ with my bestie because what else would besties want to do together for her birthday? Lol. We actually had two amazing days of shopping pleasure. Sunday was half price day at some estate sales and we really cleaned up. The first pic is of Penny’s finds. Yep, you guessed it. She “stole” that globe right out from under me…and the Indian book too! And to think I bought her that darling little girl planter. Gonna have to rethink my “kindness” mode. ;).
These were my bargains. I am a mad lover of Joan Walsh Anglund and I got a box of her sampler pages. Ok, so now Penny was nice enough to find them AND hand them over so I guess she can say the Indian book was hers. But that globe…hmmmm.
If that was not enough, I had to have all of these too! Got them at an estate sale in Rancho Palos Verdes. The gold beads are not the plastic play beads. These are the real deal mercury glass beads from the 50’s. Snagged them all for 4 bucks. The door is closed on purchasing anymore of these though. Tubs of ’em! The skeleton needs a little love, ok, a lot of love, but he’s old and with Halloween around the corner, I thought he would be perfect! And just pretend you don’t see the costume jewelry. Yea, I got tons of it but these were inexpensive and, oh yea, Penny got those for me so I “suppose” she can keep the globe. LOL.
Thanks for letting me show and tell.
XO,
Debi
