Well as many of you know, my cell phone went for a swim, which meant my camera went for one too! Hoping my phone/camera would make a miraculous recovery, I postponed this post. Now my phone appears to have permanently checked out so I’m going to go ahead and share my story and the few pics that I happened to have saved to the computer. And now back to Saturday. Shopping for me and for the licensed designers I get to work with. Yay! That’s my excuse, I mean, story. ;). Initially, I had a few purchases here and there but not as much as I hoped for. Finally I headed over to a sale that was on round two from the previous weekend. Not always good as it can be picked over. (Btw, I found it on Craig’s list.) Fortunately, I was not disappointed. Here is where my diamond in the rough appeared. This place was jam packed, vintage, rusty and all things collectible! Exactly what I was looking for! I was able to gather most of the props I needed for a boho wedding AND some “rustified” objects for one of my designers. It was amazing and I was there for three hours which is highly unusual for me, and the prices, unbeatable. Now I can’t share everything I found because I’m using them for props for our CHA Trade Show but here are a few things I did get.
Can’t wait to show you what I am going to do with them :). Aren’t these drawers like so cool! Love the colors and the rust.
This was the back entrance to the house. Ah, the treasures that were inside!
This was actually a craft room. My kind of paradise! And do you see what I see to the left? A box of frogs! Bought them all. They are great for displaying cards.
These empty bottles…yes, they are going to be perfect for a wedding I’m doing on December 28th. Think Boho and organic, wood slices and fern fronds, and you have the picture. Scooped up about 25 of them. These were fabulous at just $1.00 a bottle!
These rusty guitar pieces…I will figure out some way to use them. An artist’s mind rarely turns off!

Goodness! What a find!! Lovin’ the guitar pieces…hubby plays the guitar. Can’t wait to see what you will do with them 🙂 Glad you had some pictures in the computer but sorry to hear about your phone.
