Making Spirits Bright

12 Dec

This weekend I took some much needed down time to do…work! Lol! Can you relate? If it isn’t the job then it’s the holidays or in my case, it’s still trying to unpack.  I know I will get there, it’s my plan, but Sunday I finally took a real break and brought out this sweet reindeer stamp that I purchased nearly a year and a half ago. Eeek! He’s been sitting in the drawer quite a while and I adored him back then and just had to have him, like so many of my arty “things”. Finally, I found a few spare moments to play and this is the card I created. If I find some more of that “time” stuff, I might have to make some cute gift tags from him too! I hope you enjoy him as much as I do. He put a smile on my face. Happy Monday friends!

XO,

Debi

P.S. My tool or technique for the day is again, watercolor.  It’s my favorite go to but this reindeer would look great chalked too! And all those leftover papers from past holidays, pull them out and use them up! Oh, and thank you to Cathe for the ephemera.  One of my favorite things to look at, pull out and use :).
