Welcome to Monday’s Motivation! Today I’m a guest blogger over at www.stencilgirltalk.com. and have created an art piece using the same stencils I used almost a month ago but with an entirely different application. The end result is not even close to my first projects completed on February 4th and found here. I hope you will hop on over to get the detailed instructions for making this mixed media piece. In the meantime, take a peek at the finished project here!
I used a very old clipboard as the backbone for this design. I worked the flower onto a book that was turned inside out with the spine exposed and added bits of ephemera to create more interest. Love all the textures and layers that were created doing this.
I love using texture paste. You will notice that it gave all of my stenciled pieces dimension.
Want to see the whole process? Just check it out at StencilGirl Talk.
Thanks for stopping by. Always glad to have you visit.

Debi
