Finally! The big reveal! Sorry to have kept ya’ll waiting. I finished the cigar box yesterday and I’m very excited to reveal it today. Although I had a great time doing the art and it brought me much joy, ok LOTS of joy, the entire purpose of this box is to support a gal who is navigating her way through cancer. Hoping and praying that all the thoughts, well wishes, prayers and gifts of love help her during this difficult time. And thank you Jeanne Levy for mentioning this opportunity. I am honored and have been way blessed in this process.
The cover of the box has gone through many transformations using gesso, acrylic paints, pens, Seth Apter‘s Context stamps from Impression Obsession, Tim Holtz‘s “Cracks” stamp from Stamper’s Anonymous found here, Carolyn Dube’s, “Circles, Layer Me” Stencil as well as Seth Apter’s “Numbers” Stencil from StencilGirl Products and lots, and lots of layering! Did I mention I bought the box at Goodwill? Can I say “Goodwill Hunting”? Lol. It was, and I had lots of fun finding the perfect one.
And the big reveal! Ah…I let go of a lot of stuff :).
Close ups of the insides…
Well, hoping this brings at least some financial relief to one special lady. Waiting and praying for my next challenge.
XO,
Debi

We have to keep giving back Margie. And you are one that gives. We have been given much and who knows what the future holds for us. Kindness always matters.
