Fall in Phoenix really means only one thing. The temperatures drop by like 10 degrees. Literally. But this California girl, she is not complaining. 96 degrees is way better than 106 or even 116. I will take it. I have never seen cactus spines “fall” to the ground nor I have I ever seen them change color, but the cooler temps, that I have noticed. :D. And fall, it is my favorite time of the year. I love the fact that I’m not rushing to buy or do anything but just enjoying the changes of the season. For some reason, and it’s been several months now, I haven’t felt like decorating. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Probably the business of life. Anyway, I went to Junk In the Trunk Vintage Market this past weekend and it gave me the motivation and inspiration I needed to get up and do something. Anything. I saw so many cool and clever displays. The very next day I cleaned up, cleaned out, then dug out all my fall treasures. Thought I would share with you my table scape. I love decorating my table because it is the first thing I notice when I walk into my place. I didn’t spend a lot on it and really, outside of the napkins and a few of the silks, most everything was purchased at garage sales, Goodwill or the 99 cent Store. I kept my home color scheme of navy blue and a bit of aqua, but added in some rusty orange. I think it looks different and I like it. I’m always trying for something new. And the door, I forgot my front door. Loved this recycled rake. Can you find it? Enjoy. Oh and the winner of the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month kit for September is…at the bottom of this post.
