You didn’t think I went all the way to Michigan and forgot to go junkin’ did you? Not on your life! I missed the first Saturday because of course, I got my beautiful grandson, but no one said that I couldn’t take the car on the following Friday and Saturday and do some hunting. Oh my gosh. I’m beginning to think that I am the “Junk Whisperer”. The sales were plentiful, reasonable and had so much of what I love. Unfortunately, I was limited to two suitcases. Waaa, waaa. I packed ’em in though. To.the.brim. The trickiest one was the pedestal cake plate but I managed. I always “manage”.
And then there was all these goodies I could’t live without. I replaced the frog I “lost” at the airport with two more! (Did I forget to mention I accidentally had one on my carry-on bag when I flew out. Ooops. Another security issue for me. Bleh!) But, where there is a will, there’s a way and I got “double” for my trouble.
And just wow…
Finally, the item I actually went to get… A fostoria pedestal cake platter.
Did you see anything you recognized or liked? Pretty great finds, huh? The old suitcase had to stay behind…this time. Couldn’t put a suitcase in a suitcase. Lol. Hoping you all had a great weekend too!
XO,
Debi

Debi, my brother has our Mom’s Fostoria cake plate exactly like your new one. It has always been a prized possession in our family. Our Mom still loves cake but doesn’t bake any longer. Enjoy!

Omgosh Debi!!
You have some serious cool finds here!! I had to laugh about the frog in carry on- I goof up with that all the time! They took one of my best pairs of scissors once-poopheads!
Glad to see you love a good sale like myself!
