Let’s Hear it for the Breakfast Club! Stamps and Dies to Get Your Morning Off to a Great Start!

17 Nov

I have to admit this is one of my favorite sets in my “Love, Set, Match” collection by Spellbinders. Something about the toast, and the “sunny-side” up eggs just scream “happy”.  What better way to welcome the morning than to have these cuties on the table at breakfast or packed in a lunch box to brighten someone’s day. They are fun and quick little projects too and made from mere scraps of paper.

To make the Matchbook, die-cut and adhere two sides together for the top of the box then add a smaller rectangle cut from black cardstock and attach to the top of the box.

Die-cut one bottom box. Fold up the sides and secure in place.

Stamp, die-cut and embellish pieces with markers and ink with a blending tool. Tip: If you use thick poly foam for the toast, it will give the appearance of toast. Add a bit of brown ink to the edges and walla!! Also, use a white pen to add details to the top of the box and the bacon. **Lots of sentiment choices in this set. And thanks to my friend, Robin, for the “Bacon” sentiment:).

Adhere die-cut pieces to top of box.

Stamp sentiment onto white card stock. Trim to fit inside of Box. Insert into Box.

Love how it turned out.
