Hey friends! So excited to be on today’s incredible Blog Hop and GIVEAWAY of celebrating Hero Arts 45th Anniversary. This is one passionate company that has brought to the table 45 years of fabulous products, education and inspiration, community-building as well as giving back, energy-saving/ “green”, business professionalism, and all built around integrity. And yes, it can be done. So why not help celebrate such a wonderful occasion with some amazing giveaways and lots of inspirational art ideas, right? And there are THREE fabulous days of hopping! For my contribution, I created a Happy Anniversary card for Hero Arts but you could make it for any occasion based on the sentiment. And who better to have stamp sentiments than Hero Arts?
This is a layered card as seen here…
I used two, 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card bases stapled together to form the card. I added several stamped and die-cut Nasturiums to the two cards and cut out around a few of them.
They were colored in with a variety of Copic Markers, starting at the top with very pale yellows, increasing in color, until the last set of Nasturtiums were in a bold orange.
Each page has a section of the Nasturtium on it that peeks out from the page in front of it.
I added a few colorful butterflies to add dimension. This is one of those cards that is a great office card! Plenty of areas for everyone to sign!
Lastly the card was embellished with clear droplets and the sentiment stamped, embossed and attached. Though the coloring took a bit of time, assembly was pretty quick. This is one of my favorite Hero Arts stamp sets but you know there is a catalog full of amazing products here! Happy Hopping! Wanting to get notices of my future postings?
