“Oh What Fun” Hero Arts Winter Catalog Release-Part 2

26 Aug

“Oh What Fun” to continue on with the Hero Arts Winter Catalog Release, Blog Hop & Giveaway with a video tutorial! After I posted my cards last week, I had several people suggest that I have a video to show the dry embossing technique that I used on the following card. It is super easy to do. It’s all about knowing what mats to use.

Using a rubber mat and an embossing plate you can make a dry embossed image with the Holly Confetti Die. Check out the super simple video below or you can go here for a written description.

Don’t know if it’s an old or new idea, just know that it looked cool on this particular card and I love to share my findings.

I hope the video has been helpful. If you haven’t been following the Hero Arts Blog Hop, it’s not too late! And, there’s still time to enter the giveaway. All the information is below or you can check it out on my previous post.

XO,

Debi

I am looking for the gold paper that you used in the You Tube video titled
Dry Embossing with a Frame Cut. Please tell me what kind of paper it is and where you purchased it. We have tried all kinds of paper and cannot find the thin gold paper you used. This is all done with the Hero Arts Holly Confetti Die. I have even called Hero Arts for this info. If you can help me soon cause I am doing this with a card group that I belong too. Thank you so much Debi! I love the beautiful cards you do.
