Hi friends! I’m back because I couldn’t let this shape get lost in all the Hero Arts January My Monthly Hero launch fun with all the bee and honey stuff. Meet the Hexagon…
Ok, so it’s just a hexagon right? The shape itself has been around for quite awhile so what’s the big deal? Well, I have a daughter getting married this summer and being a wedding florist, I like to follow all the popular wedding sites and see what trends are out there. Imagine my surprise (not really, lol) when I noticed all the geometric shapes combined with a bit of organic colors and boho vibe. There are lots of hexagon signage, invites, backdrops, etc. Naturally, my mind went there and I created this card. SUUUUUPER simple. Love the colors. I saw those from a different site and thought they would work perfectly here.
The orange and peach pieces were fussy-cut and put together on top of a light blue card base. The rest were just the hexagons and the stamped sentiment.
What was really nice is that I cut several of these out and now when I’m ready to make another card, I will simply pull them from my “saved” supplies and I’m good to go.
So that’s it. Just had to put it out there. And you know, you can use the hex as an actual card base too! This one folds on the side. Mighty fun shape, just sayin’.
Can’t wait to show you what we are planning for the wedding. For now, I am creating, playing and hoping for good changes ahead.
Thanks for popping in.
XO,

Question…I am desperate to find Tammy’s Sew Sweet Valentine dies and have looked everywhere. Not at Amazon, Spellbinders, SSS or scrapbook.com. Can you help me locate one? I even “Messaged” Tammy through Facebook.
