My Monthly Hero Kit for January 2021, Add-ons and a Giveaway

4 Jan

It is HERE and honestly, the NEW My Monthly Hero kit for January 2021 will not be here long. Hi everyone! I’m Debi Adams and I’m happy you can join me for this amazing blog hop, giveaway and first-of-the-year launch by Hero Arts. The entire stamp and die-cut collection, including add-ons, is “bee-utiful” with chubby bumble bees, pretty little flowers and thoughtful sentiments that add encouragement for 2021.

First up today is my project using the My Monthly Hero Kit. This is truly one of my favorite sets and I do believe it will sell out quickly. (Never want to miss a kit? Consider subscribing here.) The possibilities of creating with these designs are limitless and this set, along with the add-ons for January, can be viewed at the end of my post. Make sure to hop on over to the other designer’s blogs to see what they have created. So much talent. So much incredible diversity. Something for everyone. We have a giveaway too, so make sure to scroll to the bottom to see how to enter and to link to the other artist’s sites.

So I decided to create a table setting with this set since I have a plethora of cards. I think this says “sunny”, right?

I couldn’t help but create this napkin ring from the branch of flowers. It seemed like the branch was almost designed to do this. I stamped, die-cut and colored the flowers, adhered the branches together at the back and slipped the napkin in. Easy. I then attached one of the bumble bees to the branches with white wire to add dimension.

Of course, no set is complete without a card or two. If you missed mine from Sunday’s sneak peek, go here. I also think this hexagon card would be great for a name card. What do you think? Just need to change the hexagon to the flat side for it to stand up or, you can attach it to a small stand.

So let’s actually see what’s in the kit…

Kit Contents:

6″ x 8″ Clear Stamp Set, Coordinating Frame cuts, Honeycomb Window Die, Honey Lacquer Pen, 6.5″ x 8.5″ Sheets of Paper (2 of each color)

This kit is regularly $70.00 but is available while supplies last at $34.99. Remember, once it is gone it is gone. I think it really packs a punch and that glitter paper….eye candy and a favorite!

I always like to include a few add-ons to my post so that you can see there are a lot more options to the My Monthly Hero theme. Here are a few of my favorites but I will be adding more in the next few days.

I created one of the slimline cards because the dies seemed to work so well with the length. Not a difficult card to make. All coloring was with Copic markers.

How about this Queen Bee? Isn’t she just darling! I love the Honeycomb Bold Print Background Stamp too! Lots of new add-on sets in this card. I used the Hexagon Infinity Dies, Abstract Honeycomb Bold Print Stamp, Bee the Queen and Bee the Queen Frame Cuts.

Lots of variety for every style and taste. Looking for more inspiration? Check out all the artists on the blog hop below. Don’t forget to enter the giveaway for a chance to win a $50.00 gift card!

Thanks for meeting me here. Have a “bee-utiful” day!
