Hi friends! As all of you know, today is the last day of June which means Seth Apter‘s Creative Team for the past nine months will disperse. It has been an incredible journey of friendships, tons of inspiration, a lot of art and plenty of new products to play with and explore. I am super grateful to have not only been amply supplied with a variety of art supplies from Seth himself but given a ton of support and kindness from him as well. From interviews to FB Lives and opportunities to experience selling our own art and giving back to others, I will always be thankful for his very generous gift of time, talent and resources. So, if you are reading this Seth, thank you. I will never forget all you did for us. Thanks too to all of the companies who produce his products and their generosity as well. (StencilGirl, PaperArtsy, Aladine, Impression Obsession Stamps, WOW! Embossing Powders.) As expected, I didn’t get to touch on everything that I wanted to as far as playing with all the art supplies but I was able to do much in those months by creating art from field trip inspirations and share my passion of photography. Today we were asked to share our favorite project from being on the team but I also want to include my favorites from the other team member’s as well. I have learned so much from them. I have tried to include their website as I feel they have so much to offer. Sure hope you will click on over.
This was my personal favorite of mine, inspired by my trip to the L.A. Flower Mart…
Brought to you by this plant. Yes, for real!
And using these products…
And how about a big shout out for my fellow team members!
Here’s my favorite of Riikka Kovasin‘s and actually the last project she showcased. I am honored to say I actually own one of these cards now. If you haven’t checked out her website, it is time! And btw, she’s a great instructor. Nearly every month she created three videos demonstrating different products of Seth’s. Fan girl.
I loved Jackie Jimerson’s easy-going approach to mixed media art. Though she was only able to participate with us for a few months (but still a part of our team for the full nine months), she definitely opened up a new way of creating art for me. One day I hope to meet her and take a class from her. Here’s her art piece that I loved. I need to pull my gel-plate out more often!
Who doesn’t love all that Robyn McClendon brings to the art table? Her vast wealth of knowledge paired with her creative ability was truly an inspiration to everyone. On her YouTube channel she showed how to create faux encaustic art using Seth’s Vintage Beeswax Powder. Check it out here.
Ah, and what would our team be without the lovely, funny, and talented, Rachel Juanita Bellamy? I just love her bold prints and mark-making paired with spiritual inspiration. In the course of her time with us, her art has been produced on a number of products and we couldn’t be prouder! She’s got a course or two she will be teaching shortly so be sure to check out her website!
Last, but certainly not least, is Phoebe Tonosaki. Her unique style and diverse layering using many of Seth’s products motivated me to do more dimensional art. I couldn’t locate the one piece I was drawn to the most, so I am showcasing another fabulous one, just as swoon-worthy.
Well that about wraps it up. I almost said that’s the end. And though our time is up as a team, I seriously doubt any of us are finished with art. Many of us are gearing up for more and some are diversifying. Happy to have virtually met so many of you. Hope you will subscribe to this blog to keep art flowing into your mailbox but whatever you decide to do, just keep creating. I look forward to seeing YOUR work. 🙂

A mega million thanks Debi for all you have brought to the team in these last 9 months. Your talent knows no bounds and your spirit and sense of integrity are second to none. Your time on the team may have come to an end…but no doubt we will cross on our paths in art over and over!
