Well here we are friends already into July of 2021 with another fantastic My Monthly Hero Kit launch with add-ons, a giveaway and a blog hop! Whew! So much coming at you! I am happy to say I LOVE this collection especially the mushrooms. They are literally speaking my nature language and brought me to my sweet spot. If you are new to my blog, welcome! Every month I feature Hero Arts new kit launch that comes with a giveaway and blog hop. More information on both is located at the bottom of my post. You will definitely want to click the other designer’s links for tons more inspiration AND read about the giveaway when you are done here. Anyway, let’s look at this month’s kit.
You will receive a 6″ x 8″ stamp set, 18 coordinating frame cuts, 3 dye ink cubes, mushroom washi tape and stardust sequins all for the price of $34.99! They normally retail for $72.00. What a deal! But as good as deals are, when this one is sold out, it is gone and will not be replenished. If you are thinking about it, the time is now.
So what did I create with this set? Let’s take a look…
I know that some people aren’t into gnomes but let me say, outside of the three seen here, this set offers so much more. There are such kind sentiments and lots of florals and ferns, truly a wonderful set with a lot of versatility! There are a few fairies tucked in there too!
And below are a few of the fabulous add-on designs made into cards. I am so glad I own them because they are sooo cute!
This is the new Mushroom Forest Fancy Die. Can I just say, if you don’t have the time to do a lot of coloring and layering, this is the die cut for you! I cut this from watercolor paper and watercolored it with Reactive inks, stamped the Woodgrain Bold Prints stamp onto Sand cardstock, attached the Mushroom Forest Fancy die-cut piece with foam dots, colored the fern and butterfly, attached them and was DONE. Quick and easy! I think this may have been my favorite set in the collection next to the new Mushroom and Fern Fancy Dies, coming up next. (See entire July collection at the bottom of this post.)
This next card has another similar type of die. This is the Forest Vines Window Die cut from Dove White Cardstock. I combined it with the Mushroom and Fern Fancy dies and colored everything with Copic Markers. Another quick and easy card. This card is actually a trifold card and is 2-D. The Window Die Cut is the front of the card. The Mushroom and Ferns are on the inside, 2nd part of the card (on Pitch Black Cardstock) and then that opens up to the inside of the card, which is a white card base again.
My last card for today is this Magical Unicorn Bold Print card. I was told that the Hero Arts designer’s intention was to make this look like a tapestry so I printed out a piece of cross stitch fabric onto 80 lb. cardstock and stamped and colored the entire piece onto that print. I added the sentiment and it completed my card.
So there you have it my friends. SIX cards for inspiration. Did you have a favorite? If you still want to see more, check out Ilina Crouse’s blog. She is sure to give you a wealth of creativity for this month’s collection. Don’t forget to enter the giveaway where Hero Arts will be gifting one $50.00 gift card to a lucky winner!
XO,
We will give away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, July 11th at 11:59pm pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

Your card with the oval of mushrooms is the reason I bought that die. It is incredible. I am going to try to make a card similar to that. My watercoloring isn’t very good, but I will try!!!!
