Hi all! What better way to start off a new day as well as the month of September than with a collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts? (Oh, and it’s the 12th Anniversary of STAMPtember too!) Two great companies with a heart for community and creativity!

First card up is almost everything from the set. Naturally, I had to make more than one card because all the designs offer so many possibilities!
My card is a modge-podge of colorful collage rectangles embellished with stamped images from the set for the background. The cake, candles and desserts were stamped onto white cardstock using Intense Black ink, colored in with Copic Markers, hand-cut, and then adhered to the base with adhesive and foam dots.
And my next card was even easier! Proof that cards don’t have to be labor intensive to be creative.
Three different sentiment stamps were stamped onto the card base. I allowed room for the two-rectangular cardstock pieces and the circle. I cut those random shapes with a paper trimmer and a punch, stamped and cut out the birthday cake and banner, colored them with Copic Markers and attached them to the card base with tape and foam dots. I dabbled a bit of Pool Party Reactive ink here and there using a Water Flow Brush to add a bit more color. So quick and easy! And this set, it’s all about that! :).
