Well today has finally arrived and I couldn’t be more excited to present the latest My Monthly Hero Kit for July 2022 by Hero Arts! Also included is some amazing add-on sets and a giveaway! When I think of fun summer time images, I think of tropical designs and flamingos. This month’s collection met and exceeded those expectations! So let’s see what is in this month’s kit!

So here is one of the projects I created with the set…
Now if you saw my sneak peek post on Saturday, (go here), you might now recognize what was used for the wood shack! Originally intended for water, as shown above, I simply stamped that water image it in a different color and direction and created a wood. It’s really fun discovering different ways to use this collection. Variety is the spice of life, as they say. I absolutely love stretching the use of stamps, stencils and die-cuts.
As always, I like to feature a few of the add-on sets as well. Here are a few of my favorites.
This die-cut only flamingo from the “Lawn Ornaments Fancy Die” set is paired with the new Tropical Florals Fancy Die set which makes for a dreamy beach card. The background was created using the existing Sky & Sea stencil. Reactive inks were used for all the coloring.
Another favorite of mine is this darling Large Toucan Bold Prints stamp. Oh so many ways to color this bird. I thought a bit about the Fruit Loops bird when coloring him. When I think of that cereal icon, I think of bright, summer colors. I used Copic Markers to enhance all the images.
And finally, the Tropical Florals Frame Cuts really spoke to me so I used them again in this simple card featuring the “Thinking of You” Stamp & Cut set. Coloring was done again with Copic Markers.
As you can tell, I have had a lot of fun creating with all of the NEW designs. I am so grateful for the Hero Arts artists who make my job so easy. How they keep coming up with such amazing images, I will never know!
