May 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit, Blog Hop and Giveaway

6 May

Ready or not, May is here and it’s time for the new May 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit launch by Hero Arts.  I’m hoping you all are going to like this one as much as I did!  If you are new to my blog, I want to say welcome! I’m Debi Adams and I’m excited to be bringing you a fun new collection of stamps and dies by Hero Arts.  Since this is a Blog Hop and ***GIVEAWAY***, you will want to scroll to the bottom to see projects from the next designer on the hop as well as how to enter the giveaway.  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these “art and craft” designs that I  am showcasing today. Wanting to purchase any of the new collection?  See the photos at the end of my post and click on the picture. It’s as simple as that!

My first  card was my “late-Sunday-night-I-gotta-try-this” now.  (Oy! Why did I wait so late?)  It uses the Main Kit that you can find here.  It was fun to create a slider card.  The pattern will be coming  soon but since I did it late last night, I did not have time to put all the pieces together for you.  So today is just eye candy. Make sure to subscribe to my blog to receive an update about this pattern as well as other fun projects to see and create.

This card is designed so that the front of the card opens up to a frame that opens up further to reveal a message.

This is what you get in the Main kit! Ah, so much goodness!! The entire set is valued at $70.00 but is selling for $34.99! What a deal.  It’s only here while supplies last, so once it’s gone, it’s gone. :(.  I also used the new Wood Frame Infinity Dies and the Knitting Pattern Bold Print stamp as shown below.

These are the two add-ons featured…

This next card was quick and easy and uses the Stick Together Stamp & Cut add-on kit.  I cut some circles out of colored cardstock using the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies and randomly placed them on the card.  I then stamped up the images, colored them in, die cut them out and adhered them to the card using foam dots.  Doesn’t get much easier than that!

Finally, for my last card, I tried to imitate an embroidery sampler using the Cross Stitch Patterns set. I love this one so much!   This is a simple card as well.  I created some background paper to make it look like it was cross stitch fabric.  (See the Hero Arts Blog Wednesday, May 8th for a surprise :)).  Lots of layering and I used the new Wood Frame Infinity Dies (add-on) to frame the sampler. The background is the Bold Graphic Confetti Die.

So what do you think?  Do you love these sets? Oh there is so much more to see.  Click the link at the bottom to see all of the add-on products.  Don’t forget to leave a comment here and then continue on the blog hop trail! Next up is Jennifer McGuire. She is always kind AND creative!

XO,

Debi
