My Monthly Hero Kit for June 2019 & Giveaway

3 Jun

Happy June! Welcome to the big reveal of Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit for June 2019 where there is yet another exciting collection of stamps and dies. This month Hero Arts is featuring a summer display of tropical/jungle delights and they are changing up the fabulous GIVEAWAY.  You will only need to leave a comment on the Hero Arts blog to be entered to win. Additionally, Hero Arts is going to donate 10% of the net profits from this kit to jungle habitat preservation through the World Wildlife Fund. How cool is that?  You get fabulous ideas and new products, can easily enter the **GIVEAWAY** and you are contributing to a great cause.  You can’t go wrong!

So without further delay, here’s the new My Monthly Hero Kit for June. Such a great variety of images and the Daniel Smith Watercolors are my favorite! More info about this incredible set at the bottom of my post.

Although I loved nearly all the designs produced, both in the Main kit and the Add-Ons this month, I had a few special favorites and I want to share just two of them with you.  First up is this Leaves and Vines Fancy Die Set,  Thanks A Bunch Monkey stamps &  Frame Cuts. I could think of several ways to work these guys but here is the one I came up with. (Info on the sets is located at the end of the post.)

Two folds make up this card so it gives the impression that the monkeys are actually swinging. I added several shades of reactive inks to create an ombre effect to the card.

After embossing my sentiment, I used yellow Copic markers across the word “banana” to add emphasis and interest.

And this card had to be my favorite to make because I love to watercolor. Hero Arts *new* Jungle Mist Liquid Watercolors made this so easy. I paired the watercolor with the new Tropical Flowers Stamp and Frame Cuts by painting stripes on Arches 140 lb. cold pressed paper and added some stamped, die-cut and colored flowers and a sentiment, and my card was complete.

Die-cut gold poster board from the flower die accentuated the flower.

So many new stamps and images. You can check them all out here.

Hope you have enjoyed this month’s new collections. Please check out the other designer’s pages as well by going to the Hero Arts blog.  Interested in subscribing to the My Monthly Kit? It’s easy! Check it out here.  Though Add-Ons are replenished, My Monthly Kit is not. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, so the subscription might be your perfect fit!  Products are shipped out on Friday, June 7th.

XO,

Debi Adams
