My Monthly Hero Kit Sneak Peek for November 2020

31 Oct

Hello friends and welcome to My Monthly Hero Kit Sneak Peek for the month of November! Yep, it’s here already and we are ready to move into the month with some great designs. Today’s feature is all about masking dies and coordinating stamps. Although the stamps and dies themselves coordinate, the intention behind the dies are to serve as masks, or place savers, for the specific images. I will show you a little bit of how this works on Monday. Today is just a peek of what’s to come. Oh and hey, there is an opportunity to win free kit before you can buy one on Monday at 10 a.m. PT. Head on over to the Hero Arts blog to see how to enter, making sure to leave a comment here.

This adorable snowman was initially die-cut only, then masked off and the background stamped onto Dove White Cardstock using the Ombre Sky Reactive Inks from the kit.

I removed the mask and then came back and stamped the actual snowman in Intense Black Ink and used Copic Markers to color him in.

He was set into a mat and then placed onto a base that has Splash Reactive Ink blended into the background and some stamped snowflakes sprinkled in along with a few die-cut pieces from the kit. It was finished with a stamped and embossed sentiment.

So there you have my Countdown card. Ah, and there is so much more coming! Lots of wintery wishes for the holidays and beyond. Hope you will check back here Monday when the launch goes live! Never want to miss my posts? Hit the subscribe button on the right. I’m only about art.

Thanks for stopping in. Don’t forget to leave a comment. 🙂
